  • Let's Stitch Together: A Community Cross Stitch Pop-Up

    Saturday, October 25, 2025 1:00-5:30 PM

    North Cortez Street, Prescott AZ

    Head to the NOCO District for Harvest Fest on October 25, 2025 to add your stitches to our large-scale cross stitch installation!

    We’ll be using rope to stitch on our large metal grid, slowly working rows, passing rope back and forth, sharing and connecting in a way that only this type of work allows. Designed with intention and heart, my hope is to build connections to each other and place through the slow act of super large scale cross stitch. No cost to stitch!

    We’ll explore simple, effective, and artful hand stitching techniques for minor repairs on denim . Whether you’re just starting or have experience with hand stitching, this session is great for anyone interested in combining functionality and creativity in their repairs. All supplies, light snacks, and drinks are included in the cost of the workshop!

One year of building this piece. Ever so slowly, one stitch at a time. With my own two hands and, most importantly, yours too. In exactly ONE WEEK, let’s stitch together again! I’m on one side, you’re on the other. We pass the yarn back and forth. Slow process, real connection. This all started at Harvest Fest last year. To build connection and to get lost in the rhythm of stitches. Throughout, this piece is teaching me something. About the work, and about myself. So.
